The Alceno family were the first family run estate in Jumilla back in 1870. Jumilla lies to the East of Alicante - not too far inland so the summers don’t get too hot nor the winters too cold. perfect for Monastrell (aka Mourvèdre) - Jumilla’s signature grape. Monastrell produces big, inky purple wines and this is no exception. Silky tannins, black fruit, a touch of earthiness and spice. A wine to partner with venison or gutsy stews.
